Resound India Studios is built to Best Acoustic standards near-perfect environment standards, catering to the need for both digital and analog platforms. While designing, there was only one objective in mind – that of simply producing great sound. Achieving high STC ratings for walls, ceilings and floors was a very elaborate and resource-consuming exercise.
This recording studio is interesting because of the flexibility it offers for sound recording and post production, thanks to variable acoustics.
There are three isolation booths with large glass , offering easy viewing to and from the main recording area and between them. The recording space is acoustically designed in contrast to each other.
Booth A gives a diffused clear sound to create an ideal environment for recording strings, brass and percussions, while the other gives a much tighter sound for Vocal and lead instruments.
The larger Booth gives a mix of dead and live sound depending on the position and acoustical modulation of sound is achieved depending on the requirement of the recording.
Two of the rooms also feature floating floors that help is decoupling the floor from any structural vibrations and also helping instruments sound a lot more better than on damped floor.
Deep bass trapping has been implemented in order to control all modal resonances
